About Wild Dog Games
Wild Dog Games is a not for profit company, set up in 2021. Our aim is to create fun, family games, for children to meet the heroes of the natural world and how to protect them.
SOS Global Edition is only the beginning!
We have new editions planned soon, including the UK, Amazon, Birds and Marine editions, and exciting Apex Predators and Invasive Species expansion packs, featuring advanced gameplay.
In partnership with WWF
We have been working closely with WWF to choose the right species and habitats for each card, and in January 2021 they conducted consumer trials amongst families across the UK. With fantastic results.
100% of Profits to Charity
Wild Dog Games will donate 100% of all profits to charity.
To be clear, whatever’s left over, once we’ve paid our normal business expenses from the income we generate from game sales, is profit. 100% of that profit will go to organisations who support endangered species and the conservation of their habitat. That’s our promise, our commitment, our raison d’être!
Profits from SOS
75% of profits from SOS sales will go to WWF and the remaining 25% to other conservation charities; particularly those who support wildlife corridors and young people in conservation.
If you are a conservation charity and you would like to find out how to become a recipient, get in touch.
The Team

-
Ellis (11)
Ellis has been chief game tester for some time now and loves all animals. His favourite SOS species are the Fennec fox and the amazing tardigrade!
-

Gavin has helped Jackson bring SOS to life, with a particular focus on manufacturing, distribution and all the boring back-office stuff (tax, accounting, legal etc). Helped by 30 years’ experience in Media, Entertainment and Gaming. His charity experience includes his role as a trustee for BBC Media Action.
Independent Directors & Guardians
Introducing our Independent Directors & Guardians, Chris and Matthew…
From the start, it was important we on-boarded independent directors to act as guardians of the WDG mission and pledge to donate all profits to charity.
Chris Day (60) — Following an early career in capital markets and global corporate finance, Chris returned to the UK with his family in 2005 when he joined the BBC as Group Financial Controller, before becoming CFO of the Post Office. Now (semi) retired Chris splits his time between being a Trustee of St John's Winchester (a charity providing Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care), with walking the family dog in the Hampshire countryside.
Matthew Brearley (56) — After many years at Board and Senior level for several global and national companies, Matthew now donates his time to a variety of charities and is passionate about improving the lives of others. A keen sportsman, he’s in GB’s Age Group Triathlon team; often seen training along the South Coast, where he lives with his family.
Big thanks
Big thanks to everybody who has helped along the way: Rachel, Paul, Michael and all the super cool scientists at WWF, Adam at Karmarama, Johnny Richards, Anthony Ackenhoff, Oday Abbosh, the great team at Objekt video company, and Eventsys for their help on Kickstarter. And last but not least, especially to our friends who were our games-tester guinea pigs in the early days.
